Sling Shots
I had a nursing photo session a while back and only a couple of people showed up for it - others couldn’t due to illness.
Jenae was there with her gorgeous pouch sling, and since I knew I wanted to make babywearing photos another specialized area, I asked if she would let me take some shots.
It was a gorgeous November day, but it was mid-day and very bright, so her little one wasn’t very happy to be outside. Jenae offered him her necklace to suckle on, and he happily took it for a little while.
I got really close for this next shot, and cropped it even closer, so it’s hard to tell she’s even got a sling on, but I still love it.
And this last one it just a super close-up of this adorable little boy who looks different every time I see him, even if it’s only been one week.
I adore how the curve of his eyelashes are mirrored in the curve of his cheeks below.
Now I’m all caught up with basic editing of photos and am ready to get back-logged again!
I’ve got a Breastfeeding Portrait Party coming up next week, which I’m so looking forward to, and a couple of family photo sessions that the families are wanting to get done with soon enough to get cards made and sent out for the holidays.
No pressure!
I know they’ll all be tons of fun!!
