Perfectly Adorable
I was excited to hear from Angela that her baby had been born; it seemed forever!
L. was 8 days old when I was able to spend some time photographing her.
She was perfectly asleep when I arrived and set about to find the best location for photos. Such a doll, I couldn’t help but stop and stare at her each time I walked by.
These photos belie the actual session; she actually slept very little.
Angela would nurse her, she’d fall asleep, mama would put her where I asked and where I’d be ready and waiting with the camera. I’m so excited that we got “sleepy baby” portraits even though she wasn’t asleep the majority of the time!
Done with being put down, we captured some portraits of her with mama…
and big brother.
In just 8 days he’s learned great patience with his little sister; I can tell he’s going to be a great big brother.

Barb,
bringing a mother to tears on how beautiful her children are is priceless.. They are so beautiful.
thank you
What gorgeous pictures!!! Those pictures are priceless!!
The clarity of their eyes, I keep going back to admire the clarity and the innocence that is displayed. Beautiful brother and sister.
Thanks for the comments and compliments, everybody!
Courtney, I had a friend make this one; it was her first. The one I used at a previous session was purchased from Etsy, created by another photographer in Colorado! Do a search for “baby cocoon” on Etsy and you’ll find lots and all different styles. I look forward to getting more, and in gorgeous colors.
Excellent pictures, and such a full head of hair! Beautiful children!
Thank you for sharing.
These pictures are quite extraordinary-they help confirm one’s belief in the wonderment and miraculous gift of life-they are treasures indeed and bring tear to my eyes
Thanks for sending these, Angela!! Lilly is already a sweetie. And Aidan looks like a little angel.
You and Alec make good babies!
Love, Kathleen
