One For The Road

I belong to a wonderful group of women photographers, most of whom are moms. Hence the name MomPhotographers.

We’ve recently begun having weekly challenges, or “homework”, in order to increase our creativity (or keep it up). The first homework challenge is “One For The Road”.

At first my mind swirled with images of streets, cars, even creative images of alcohol being spilled on the road.

Then I remembered a recent walk the kids and I took where we found one lone shoe on the road. We had even discussed it in length, trying to come up with outrageous reasons why that shoe might be there.

With my limited time and finances, however, I didn’t want to set up a scene (I could have easily recreated the shoe scene, but it just didn’t hit home).

And then it came to me… something that happens every day in our home, and sometimes several times a day.

My daughter got in on the kissing action (and she stayed kissing until I got the shot, making things much easier for me )

Photography is just SO MUCH FUN!!!
