An Actual Sneak Peek For A Change

Most of my posts for the last month or two haven’t been sneak peeks; they’ve been more like shares. I just got so behind with those maternity sessions.
But this post… this is a sneak peek!
I was grateful that this mama was persistent!

Andi contacted me several times through my contact form here [...]

I Was Interviewed At Greener Assets

I shared the link with just about everybody I know via email, but forgot to post about it here!
Read my interview at Greener Assets: http://www.greenerassets.com/support-perfectly-natural-photography/
Unfortunately there is a “no nipple” policy at Greener Assets (and I wonder what happened to have *that* policy put in place), so none of my breastfeeding portraits got [...]

Playing Catch-Up: Maternity Portraits

As I’ve said before, probably a few times, I got really behind on posting.
In order to get caught up without it seeming so daunting to me, I’m going to do something I didn’t want to do: I’m going to post several posts in one. And I’m going to write very little instead of going in-depth [...]

Coming This Week

Tomorrow I’ll probably post some photos of my kids during a recent visit from my parents, doing something I always loved doing with my Grandpa, who passed away in January.
Also this week, I should be able to share some photos from a great family session. Since this one doesn’t show little L.’s face, [...]

Rosemary’s Swingin’ Ranch

I love going out to my friend Rosemary’s ranch!
It’s such a different place from that at which my kids usually get to play. There are lots of animals to look at (and pet and feed) and trees to climb, and places to explore. We even get to keep chickens out there, as I’ve previously posted.
I [...]

Super Fun Family Session With Silhouettes

I was so glad when my friend Keri contacted me about doing a family session with her. Especially because she was as excited to get silhouettes made as I was!

We got lots of shots before the sun set, too.

Some of the boys each by themselves.

And then came the challenging, but super fun part of getting [...]

A Tween In Old Town

I love working with kids of all ages, and was super excited to have a session with a tween.

Especially when I heard that she was interested in having some “urban” photos taken.

K. was a trooper, too! We walked around Old Town for almost two hours, taking pictures anywhere that was interesting.

She had lots of fun…

but [...]

Maternity Silhouettes

I have been having so much fun doing these; both taking them and processing them! They’re tricky and poses are limited, but the challenge is part of the fun.

I’d been inspired by another photographer’s photo of his own wife, and knew the instant I saw his photo that I wanted to do the same.

The first [...]

So Many Wonderful Kids

I was recently invited to take pictures for a local school, and I jumped on the opportunity.

I had such a great time, too! They were all beautiful, funny, wonderful, amazing children!

My heart wouldn’t allow me to create traditional style school pictures, and I was glad the parents accepted, even appreciated, that fact.

I spent about [...]

Busy But Still Finding Time To Play

I was very fortunate to have been contacted by a local school to take some school pictures of the students there and have been busy working on those (taking them and processing them, going back to take more, etc.).
I’m in a little lull while I wait for the orders to come in so I [...]
