Birth, The Play - Like The Vagina Monologues for Birth
Filed in Admin, September 16, 2009, 12:30 pmIn a little over a week, it will be my pleasure to once again volunteer to photograph Birth, a play by Karen Brody.
My friends at The Family Journey brought this play to The Tap Room here in Fort Collins last year, which featured a troupe of actors from the Denver area. I loved every moment [...]
A Boudoir Portrait Share
Filed in Admin, May 11, 2009, 1:00 pmI usually share these on the Fig Leaf Studio blog, but I wanted to share over here because I think many of you may not subscribe over there.
This is from a session I got to do on Saturday.
I like to start out a session with some “beauty shots” - close-ups of the face. [...]
Doing My Son A Favor
Filed in Admin, April 21, 2009, 6:59 pmI have a bunch of things to do to prepare for upcoming sessions (YAY!), and posts to write both here and Fig Leaf Studio, so I was hesitant to do this.
But my oldest son begged me.
And because I can use this to my benefit (getting him to sit for me when I want to practice [...]
My Boys’ Birthday Portraits
Filed in Admin, Family Life, Finger Prints, March 7, 2009, 7:08 pmI started the tradition of creating birthday portraits for my kids last year. Something To Make You Smile
Filed in Admin, March 3, 2009, 9:12 amIt’s not a photo, it’s a video. It’s a commercial, actually! Tell me this doesn’t make you smile.
It’s even more awesome when you watch The Making of T-Mobile Dance.
Have a beautiful day!

Saving Money
Filed in Admin, Finger Prints, February 22, 2009, 5:39 pmWhile professional photography is certainly not a necessity, most people enjoy having professional portraits of their children made to display in their homes and share with friends and family.
It’s a difficult time for so many people right now, so in light of this I’ve decided to make some changes to my pricing structure.
The fee [...]
I Heart Faces
Filed in Admin, February 3, 2009, 12:58 pmI recently came across a really cool website while reading a post on one of my favorite blogs.
I’m all about the face and capturing expressions, so my focus is right in line with their mission:
The purpose of this blog is to provide a photography sharing forum that focuses on the art of capturing faces and [...]
