Bitter Sweet Nursing Portraits
Not long ago I was contacted by a mama who wanted breastfeeding portraits. And she was in kind of a hurry.
Kristin was concerned that she was soon going to have to wean her darling little boy for medical reasons, and wanted to be sure to capture those sweet moments before they were gone.
Every time I head home after a session, I am smiling and so grateful that I get to do what I do!
After this session, I had tears in my eyes from my joy and gratitude.
Thank you for allowing me into your home, Kristin, and helping you to have these images to forever remember this too-short period in your relationship with sweet M..
Use the form on the contact page to schedule your session or to get more information.

These are just beautiful! What a wonderful way to preserve these memories. Thank you for sharing these photos of this special time between mother and son, they are priceless!
Beautiful pictures, Barb! Bittersweet is right.
Way off subject, but your tears of joy and gratitude reminded me of my daughter yesterday. She and her sorority sisters had just returned from volunteering at the Race for the Cure. She was excited, and had a great time. As she started telling me about her morning, I started to tear up (I am not sure where they came from, I think it was just nice to see her so very happy about something), and soon it was obvious that she was crying too.
She was so glad to have been able to help out, and was touched and moved by the survivors she met, their supporters, and the families and friends of women who have lost their battle.
She said that she didn’t ever remember crying because she was so moved and happy about something…which just caused us both to cry more.

Kelly,
What a sweet story! People’s strength moves me so much! Isn’t volunteering so much more than doing something for somebody else; we benefit from it ourselves.
I’ll be in touch with you soon about an idea I had, and of which your comment reminded me.
