An Actual Sneak Peek For A Change
Most of my posts for the last month or two haven’t been sneak peeks; they’ve been more like shares. I just got so behind with those maternity sessions.
But this post… this is a sneak peek!
I was grateful that this mama was persistent!
Andi contacted me several times through my contact form here on the blog, but my replies disappeared into the ether each time. It was because of that that I made the change on my form that says, “please add my address to your whitelist/address book” so that they don’t end up in your spam folder.
She did exactly that, and gave me her phone number on the next form (maybe the 4th?). That’s persistence!!!
I had a great time photographing her family, learning about their likes and their history (Andi and Nick are high school sweethearts who were born one day apart in the same hospital room!), and watching Andi and Nick be gentle, thoughtful and creative with T. and L. .
The love that this family has for each other and for spending time together is evident upon meeting them.
And they have the cutest kids, with the most amazing eyes (T. and L. get that from their mama, I think - did you see her eyes up there?)
who are super full of energy!
Though there were a few moments of stillness.
Andi, I can’t wait for you to see the rest of your photos; you’ll just love them!
Oh, and if you and Nick ever want to get rid of that gorgeous red chair, come to me first!
Use the form on the contact page to schedule your session or to get more information.

I am breathless………amazing, amazing, amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for capturing the essence of my family! I am grateful for the opportunity and experience of having you in our home taking these incredible photos. Thanks you for your persistance and for your skill. You have captured who we are and who we are to each other. Thank You!!!
Oh, Andi, I’m so glad you feel that way!!! Now I’ve got a big smile on my face.
My first thought on seeing the first pic of Andi was “her eyes are brilliant!” and then, Barb comments about her kids’ eyes too. Wow! What a beautiful family you have, Andi, and what amazing photos, Barb. You never disappoint me!
Thanks, Keri! I didn’t do anything to her eyes, either; it’s all natural (lucky woman!).
Hey, that’s my sister! Wow, these photos are really, really amazing. I always knew T. and L. should have been baby models.
Oh, and regarding Andi’s eyes. I’ve always been told, “your sister has the most beautiful blue eyes.” I’d be super jealous about that if I hadn’t gotten most of the brains in the family.
luv,
big sis
Jessi,
I was in awe of T.’s quiet beauty when I first met her and am so glad I got to meet the rest of this beautiful family!
LOL about the beauty/brains thing… I had a similar thing going on with my little sister when we were growing up (though eventually people thought we were twins, and I took that as a compliment - not sure about her
).
